O Level so far.

So far it has been fine. English and E Maths were not much of a problem. A Maths stressed me out alot , but regardless , i still managed do much of the problems.

Tomorrow would be another week of papers for me. I'm only scared of Monday's papers which are Social Studies and Chemistry. I fear that stress might cause me to forget all the facts about the essays i must write for Social Studies. Plus , I have no idea whether i'm prepared for Chemistry. I feel like i'm done revising , but at other times , i feel that i haven't finished it.

Haizz...Going to spend most of today doing Chemistry, and a quick read of Social Studies at night.

12 more days to the end of O Level!

And after that , it will be YGO , YGO and uh......YGO!!

Let's face it, sometimes YGO in Singapore is pretty routine.

1) You look at someones binder.
2) There is no money cards (Allure, Catastor , Brionac , etc etc etc)
3) Immediately return the binder to the other person without further looking.

Sometimes, people are this realistic.

I myself don't have a good binder at all. Some of you may know.

That's why, I fail in comparison to others whom have a godly binder.

Thus, I can only think of 2 ways to go in this situation.

1) Be a good trader with a good capital and grow your binder.
2) Beat them in terms of skills.

Option 1 is definitely out for me, cause i have no capital at all ($10 per week is NOT capital).
Option 2 seems to be the only route left.

Yes. I know about Rauzes' post on luck. But the point of sharpening and strengthening your skills is to decrease the percentage of your win which depends on your luck. You would rather luck to play a 1% part rather than a 50% part in your duels , right? Thus , luck still plays a vital part in our everyday dueling/tournaments , but we also need skills to reduce the weight of luck in our chances of winning.


14th and 15th of November will be the stage.


In other news : I did ok for both English and EMaths. Expecting both to be A2 or A1 if lucky. But , today is A Maths paper 1 , and i'm abit worried. Hopefully i can get a B3 or even an A2.

Went to study at Jurong Library before going to Thousand Taste for the tournament. Played and traded with Melvin , Winson , etc etc.

There were only 12 ppl at the tournament since most ppl went to Khatib and Bishan. Nevertheless , the tourney was still on and there were 4 prizes.

Yess!!! Finally got 1st place after so many tournies...damm happy. Good ending for my break from YGO. Locking up my cards tonight. So its nice to have finally won once! Anyways , did some decent trades and got alot of stuff like DP09 things and some Oppressions. Plus i won the Dark End.

Raiou => Screws Lightlord.

Now must slowly poke opponent with lowest ATK monsters to prevent too much damage from Gorz.

Gold Sarcophagus would be good cause i could have a chance to play my Fish deck. But , sadly , the dealer whom was going to sell me my 2 Sarcos sold it to other guy. (Ask Axehead)

Now , i am very confused about what to bring for that day...Should i side some Fissures for the Raiou problem? I predict that there will be an outbreak of D.D. Anti Meta , Gadgets and the all so famous Akira Control!!

Actually , Great Tornado would be a good addition to Rauze's Junk and Debris Zero. Just take out some stuff for a few Divine Fowl King Alector and its good to go.

Oh , and maybe 1 more Poly/Miracle Fusion.

But it would mean removing the Debris Dragons if needed.

Hm...

I'll have to think about that. Maybe a few more versetile WIND targets will do?

Yes. This post is dedicated to the one character in Yu-Gi-Oh! which taught me about the fun in dueling. I started listening to some of the songs of GX a few days ago , which reminded me of how fun it was to duel a few years back when i was just a mere Secondary 1 student using a Hero Deck. Yes, those were really good times...Especially game winners such as killing Light and Darkness Dragon with your Shining Flare Wingman...Epic

Judai was the first character which interested me. His deck seemed so fun to play with , and the next thing you know , i was collecting every single HERO there is to collect. But , as i grew up , competition grew onto me and soon i was playing meta decks and other Tier 1-2 decks.

So, in recognition to the hero whom gave excitement into my dueling life , i will be recreating Yuki Judai's Hero Deck. Now i know that there are alot of varieties to what his deck can be ( Neo Spacian , E.Hero , E-Hero , N-Hero , blahblahbalh...) , but i will simply stick to the Hero section of his deck which attracted me during my younger days.

I'm going to summarise yesterday in pointers , cause i'm very tired.
