Sorry for not posting for awhile (4 days)

I fell ill on Wednesday and was in bed all the way until 3o minutes ago when i finally was able to get up.

39 degree fever + running nose really does a lot to your body.

Anyways, i don't think there will be a tourney report this week since i'm not going out with this body of mine.

Grats to Jeff Jones on topping with Quickdraw Dandywarrior

But i would be happier if Ryan Spicer or Billy Brake won with Caliber Cat.

Yeah...biased opinions. But i played with the Quickdraw Dandywarrior deck last Sat, and i must say that its really strong.

In other news, Economics lessons are freaking confusing, while Business Management is acceptable for me, just that i need to do some revision on my own.

Poly life rocks. Great friends + Great teachers = Great learning!

But , even though BZSE T01 is the best class i have ever had, i still feel that i'm still not really a part of the class yet. Maybe its because of what happened during Secondary school, so i'm still kinda affect by it.

REGARDLESS, i'll try to have fun with my class!

Finally, Testing update!

I love Synchro Cat now!!! Absolutely 100% love it now, even IF it loses.

Maining Tragoedia is also a good choice which i took up.

While i don't main 2 Doomcalibur Knight, i main 2 Raiou, as its kinda a trend happening in Japan.

I'm considering running 1 My Body as a Shield, but i have yet to find space.

And the best thing i LOVE about Synchro Cat , especially mine is........

Synchro Cat

Head on over to Shriek.

You can see that there are 3-4 Synchro Cat decks which topped.

I think its a good choice for using 2-3 Raious.

It counters BF and Infernity, while providing a LIGHT beatstick, which becomes food for Chaos Sorcerer (for some builds)

Also, i see some Snowman-Eaters, which is hard to get over with its 1900 DEF. Its effect also almost always provides a +1 unless your opponent can get over it , which would be an instant trade off.

It's nice to see that these are topping, even over on the TCG side.

And yeah, i'm testing out Synchro Cat too!

I know AMK has a Trishula tournament, but you can't trade there...and..i just don't think i stand a big chance of winning it with everyone going there.

Plus, only Trishula and Decisive Arms is good..the rest...meh

Sugary Treats and Yu-Gi-Oh!

Mum came back from her trip to Taiwan.

She brought back A LOT OF gum/sweets/stuffwhichmakesyourbrainwork.

So much that i'm deciding to bring some tomorrow to locals either at Khatib or Jurong East to share with my friends.

Sugar keeps your brain working, and i think that it also applies to Yugimonz too.

They should distribute some sweets to players in between every few rounds at the World/Asia Qualifiers. Because seriously, the amount of stress there is VERY HIGH.

Change of mindset

I know.

There is still quite some time before World Qualifiers.

But its a sorta good timing to start changing your mindset bit by bit in preparation.

Heard that the World Qualifiers would start for Malaysia on the 2nd of May.

If that month would be ours too, then we have around 1 month to prepare only!


Stuff that will happen :

1) If you get a Heavy Storm, you will NOT hesitate to use it, unless it makes you lose advantage.

2) No reliance on promos like Raiou/Gorz. BF just became abit harder to beat.

3) Malevolent Catastrophe would be widely used (As mentioned on previous post)

4) Trap Stun would be widely used too to prevent Icarus Attack and Malevolent Catastrophe.

5) Infernity decks will have no Trishula, but they can still summon alot of Synchros to beat.

But, there's still a lot of time left. Perhaps its just me being overly excited.

Anyways, i myself have no idea what to run on that day itself.

Wouldn't be surprised if i had to play a Tele-DAD deck teched with Ultimate Psychicker and Miracle Synchro Fusion in Round 1 or something.

Or i'll have to fight a randomly gay new FTK made by Baha.

Good news is, we will 100% see more of this card at the World Qualifiers.

Sorry for not updating for the past week.

Parents aren't at home, so i had to do chores, laundry , etc.

Now, onto the report. no details of the matches will be given cause i'm extremely tired and i can't remember what happened.

Finished that and went for lunch. Came back, and Darren + Aaron + Jeric + others arrived. Tournament started at 3PM

Played against Akira and won him 2-0 , which automatically made me get 5th place and i decided to take the One Hundred Eye Dragon.

Aaron got 4th and took the Sin Red Eyes.

Ate dinner together and then went home.

Overall, it was a great day. Because.....

1) I won something
2) Heard a lot of playing GB by watching Gabriel play his Oppression GB and fighting Yi Jie.
3) Sidedeck choices were good too.


Yup. And i've gotten new motivation to play Oppression GB again!
