Random happenings while stuck at home!

Yeah, exams is in 2 weeks and i can't go out...even though its just a few papers.

I'm preparing for my project presentation on Wednesday, which is rather important to my grades.

Here's somethings which happened at home this week :


1) Couldn't go to locals at all..But might sneak out to one next week.

2) Playtested World Qualifier deck, which proves to be good.

3) Revised Econs and Business Management.

4) Randomly formed a deck consisting of Machina and Synchro Cat =P

5) No.4 actually kinda worked, but i didn't like it. Using Fortress + Keymouse was random.


Yarp. That's really summed up my week.

And no laptop is soooooooo boring...

Anyways, really looking forward to World Qualifiers, hope my deck can make it.

What crap is it?

In other news, Placido got ripped out from his D-Wheel. Cool.

And Jose finally gets his Machine Emperor.

No promos

Like Clarence, participating in tournies with his BF deck without promo, i'm going to try that too!

No choice, since World Qualifiers are 1 month away.

Although i'm going to take it slowly, since its a little hard to suddenly take out all the promos in my deck and play.

Right now, i'm going to only play 1 Promo , which will be Gorz.

I'll decide on what to replace it with later.

In other news, now we have to submit our decklist and register for the World Qualifiers online! Pretty cool , and its about time they did this since its WAY more efficient this way.

Lotsa lotsa Tournies!

The format for World Qualifiers has changed back to Swiss, which is a relief.

There's a Trishula Starlight tourney @ Jurong East this week, and i'm SO going for it. Its about time i owned a Trishula, if i can get it....

There's also a Trishula tournament in the start of June.

AND , theres the Duel Kingdom tournament spreaded over May, June and July , which also has a Secret Trishula as the grand prize.

All in all , its going to be great for the month of May and June.

Must take this opportunity to play as much as possible , before the school term starts again in July

R2 : Sided the proper cards. They did well.

Ok lah, at least my current results are consistant.

Hope i can keep up my standard, and get a prize for next week's Trishula Tourney by WX.

Can't go for the one tmr, since i have to finish my Economics and Business Management projects.

New Stuff + New Info

Phew..finally got those Big Tornado of the Wasteland which i needed.

Felt inferior using Dust Tornado when everyone is using that super special awesome new card.

Also went to get some other stuff for my Synchro Cat today!

I must say, the testing is totally awesome.

Finally, went to check the official YGO website and realized that the World Qualifiers in Singapore would be on 20th June, which is a little more than a month from now.

Minus my tests/projects/assignments...I guess i don't have much time to practice.

Damm it.

I'll try to find time to practice during my holiday then.

R1 : Too many Gadgets on field. he destroyed my Arcanite and rushed ftw.
R2 : He had a bad hand.
R3 : He THOUGHT he had a bad hand filled with Gadgets, while i had a hand with no monsters.

So...this is abit complicated to write about. Basically if he won , which he did, he still had to fight in order to get a placing in Top 4. So i volunteered to help by asking him to let me win, which automatically gave me a place in Top 4. Then , whatever prize i got i will pass it to him , in return for a free drink...

So...Top 4! Weeeeee...

Lack of Posts

Sorry that there has been a terrible lack of posts.

Mainly its because i have no Internet access at home for the past week.

Don't ask me why.

Anyways, i went down to a tournament @ Jurong East yesterday with Synchro Cat again.

I got 2nd after playing for a long time.

That's about it.

I'm typing this out at Jurong East library and i'm heading for another tournament there in.... 10 minutes? Right after i submit my homework online.

R1 : Forgot how i died. Remember getting shot by 2 Wave Motion Cannons.
R2 : Sided in Trap Stuns and summoned BLACK FEATHER DRAGON to block damage for awhile. Cold Waved and summoned Brionac + another crap synchro , bounced all his monsters and rushed in for the win.
R3 : Summoned Black Feather Dragon again! Woot!

Match 2 : VS Yong Xiang (Synchro Beat)

R1 : Cold Waved and rushed ftw with Sorc + Airbellum + Raiou
R2 : Bad hand of 2 Pot of Avarice and no monsters. Stalled awhile with Spy + Descendant , but still died.
R3 : Descendant abuse!!

R1 : He believed in Nexus , giving him Whirlwind and giving me crap.

So we didn't play for Top 4. After discussion , i let Neux up to get the Decisive Arms while he split it with me.
