Testing.
Changed my deck name to Elec Beat.
Tested it out with my updated BixieRoids build.
I have to say that 3 Smashing Ground and 3 Fissure rocks. Easy removal of big threats such as the imba gay Machiner's Fortress.
However, I have the utmost urge to play 2 Recharging Batteries in order to recycle my Elecimals. Working to find some space to squeeze them on.

Peek into the new format! (WARNING : ALOT of content)
Let's take a peek , shall we?
Yes. It'll kinda involve a lot of Smashing Grounds.
After seeing the real banlist, and looking through some other blogs , forums , etc. I think that the format will become a quite diverse one. Ranging from super fast decks to the slow control ones, or even simply the ones whom Smash or Fissure your monsters and proceed to smack face.
Decks with such elements include :
- Infernities
- Blackwings
- Gladiator Beast
- Monarch
- Beatdown
- Gadgets
- Plants?
Yeah. I'm seeing Gadgets as a really strong contender for this format. Very strong control + beatdown makes it a real threat.
Infernities are extremely fast, killing you if you have no answers or solutions to their combos. But, they are a little tiny bit overhyped. As sidedecking can allow the player to smoothly break through their combos. (provided they side the CORRECT cards.)
Monarchs might see some play, as Cyber Dragon goes back to 2, and with enough new support such as Battle Fader.
I've played with Blackwings with the new support from TSHD (still packing 2 Allure + 3 Whirlwind), and i must say that they are also a great deck to fight against. Their Synchro Summoning abilities has increased with cards like Breeze and Gust. However , they are still fairly beatable.
Plants? That was just a random idea. But they can see play with new support from TSHD
Glads? They're still doing fine. Able to keep up with Blackwings. However , i'm concerned about the threats that is easy removal.
In conclusion , its going to be quite an enjoyable format.

Testing would be required of this deck. I'll try to test it as much as possible while i'm at home.

JE Tournament Report (21th Feb)
Deck used : GB
Alot of blur moments + very tired now. So the descriptions will be rather short.
1st Match : VS Jonas (BF)

Game 1 : Oppression killed me.
Game 2 : Sided some Trap Holes , etc. I summoned Gyzarus , intending to only destory 1 card , then he opened Starlight Road? Then he died.
Game 3 : Icarus is too god.
(1 point)
2nd Match : VS Milton (BF)
OXO
Game 1 : Forgot how i won. Slowly poke him to death.
Game 2 : A timed Starlight Road killed me.
Game 3 : Controlled with Raiou!
(3 points)
3rd Match : VS ???? (Graveyard Ritual)

Game 1 : Charioted his Relinquished. He went downhill from there.
Game 2 : Sided into D.D. GB. Worked perfectly.

4th Match : VS DSummon (AHA)

Game 1 : He swarmed me with a lot of Fortress and Gear Dragons.
Game 2 : Didn't draw any sided cards. Died again.
(7 points) - He gave me 1 point cause he had 9 points already and he can still go in
even after giving me 1 point.
There were 4 seven pointers , so we played it out to see which 3 of us can go in. In the end , me + Aaron + Jonas got in. (Mainly cause the guy left after he lost to Aaron...)
Top 4 : VS Aaron (Zombie Synchro)

Game 1 : Retiari out all his Zombies. Controlled him for game.
Game 2 : Went back and forth. Ended with him summoning Zombie Master and punch for game.
Game 3 : Same as game 1. D.D. GB did its job.

Game 1 : FINALLY WON!! WOOT WOOT.
Game 2 : Died due to swarming of gay birds.
Game 3 : I had solutions to all his play. Controlled and beat for game.
Ranking : 1st!!!
Took the Dewloren and sold it to Aaron as promised. He needed it for a deck of his which i shall not say out.
Quite happy today! Reached my quota again for getting a prize in any tourney at least once per month!
Also got my playset of Elecgiraffe and some other cards.

Today in a few lines!
- Didn't go to Khatib for locals cause i wanted to go to the JE locals tmr.
- Stayed at home and read some books on stuff.
- Played around with some ideas for Elecimals.

Elecimals
Trying it out.
With Honest and stuff like Book of Moon , Enemy Controller , and Equipments , the Elec monsters , mainly Elecgiraffe and Elecpecker becomes quite a force to reckon with for your opponent.
However , some problems i've encountered along the way is...
1) These guys need protection EVERY turn. Without it , they are as good as free food.
2) Using Equips = Lost in advantage.
3) Slow as compared to BF. On par with GB, but GB slowly gets advantage.
I was initially thinking of focusing on summoning Power Tool Dragon , grabbing good equipments such as United We Stand and Elecube. But it doesn't really help out.
Then i thought of mixing it with some DARK monsters to form a Chaos varient. But that isn't really working out as well.
I guess more tests are needed.
I'll most likely spend the next few posts on my progress.

Waiting in anticipation
Within the next few days, the March 2010 banlist would surface.
A lot of things will change, mainly the dominating decks.
In this format , we saw a fixed variety of dominating decks , ranging from Dimensional Eatos , Zombie Synchro , Lightlords , Blackwings and Gladiator Beasts.
Soooo....
Curious to see what's going to happen after the next few days.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

My shopping day at Vivo!
Nothing related to YGO today.
Went out with my mum to VivoCity.
We split up and did our own shopping.
I went to Daiso to grab some $2 sleeves and deckboxes.
Then....I went to Toy's R Us , where i saw the promotion on the Gundam's 30th Anniversary, and they are having a sale on MG Gundams from past designs, such as the RX-37 Gundam to the majestic Wing Gundam Zero Custom.
Couldn't resist my urge to grab one of those MG's and i got myself a MG 1/100 Wing Gundam Zero Custom...Felt damm good!
Went home and started assembling my Mr. Bushido's Ahead. Completed it just 10 minutes ago. It looks really cool in the battle stance with my HG 1/144 00 Gundam.
Nice day!
Soo.....What should i play after the March 2010 banlist?

First impression : WAH! A lot of hate on this list.
Firstly , my biased opinions :
- I don't like Brionac getting banned. It should be limited to 1.
- I don't like Whirlwind getting to 2. It should be at 3 to support a BF format (hehehe...)
- I don't like Honest at 2, simply because i like my playset of 3!
- I don't like Allure at 1, cause its pointless. And i just bought 2.
- WOOT! It would be great if Chaos Sorceror really go to 3! Twilight Beat ftw!
That's all i have to say.
But overall , i think its a good speculation of what's to come. Lightlords and Zombies are hit real bad, while GB and BF are left to dominate. I don't think they will hit BF , since they probably want ppl to buy loads of Shining Darkness. So.......that's Konami for you.
I would say this list is around 80% real.
I'll look out for more rumored lists.

Prediction on next format.
These are just my opinions....Please don't flame me for stating out what i predict.
Tier 1 decks next format :
- BF
- GB (probably?)
- Infernity
And i changed my main deck once again!
Dismantled my GB and placed them into my spare cards box. They have served me well , but its time to look forward and change my main deck to the deck which is supposed and predicted to be dominating next format : Blackwings!
GB could be my second deck! But the problem is that i only have 1 Mirror Force....
So much for that...
I hope that the banlist wouldn't hit Blackwings. Cause if i know Konami well enough, i think they would let Blackwings slip out of their radar for the next format to encourage more people to buy boosters to get new Blackwing support, must like how they let Lightlords off the hook from the Sept 2009 banlist , as Charge of the Light Brigade was getting released in EXP2.

KOF Yugioh Tournament Report!
Met fireowners at Clementi MRT...
Went to Bukit Batok MRT to meet Wei Xiang.
Then went to Khatib for lunch.
Then trade here and there and the tourney started.
Deck used : GB
Wee Min : Gladial Eatos
Wei Xiang : Lightlord.
Match 1 : BYE.
Comments : Slack loh. Look around for some good trades, etc etc. Talk to Axehead loh...

Match 2 : VS ??? (Jacky's team)
I NEVER PLAYED....Wee Min had to steal the whole show and pwn the entire opponent's team by himself and STILL have 8k LP. No choice loh....me and Wei Xiang go sleep...But cannot sleep cause Axehead was sitting beside me yelling "FIRE...WINNER!"

Match 3 : VS Team Colin
Wee Min won Colin , but lost to Kenneth.
Then i beat Kenneth after controlling the game. Then i lost to Mango , subsequently Wei Xiang also lost to Mango due to bad draw , bad hand and bad mill.
2-1
Match 4 : VS Team S.A.M
Wee Min lost to Sam , I also lost to Sam.
Then Wei Xiang did abit of justice and beat Sam , then losing to Akira.
2-2
Soo....In the end we got 9th!
Ok lah...I dun feel that bad about losing , since it is a big tourney and its already quite good that we got 9th. Too bad our luck wasn't really good.
I would blame Kenneth actually. Spread baha's aura to our team, causing bad luck!
LOL , jking only.....No hate intended.

On the bright side , i managed to get 2 Allures at a good price!
AND i got my stuff for my Flamvells!
Casual fun deck COMPLETE!
And i'll reconstruct my BF real soon! Wait for Shining Darkness , when everyone would suddenly throw away all of their Eatos and Lightlords and join the big flock of birds and play BF!

Wee Min === Very strong today.
Me ==== Didn't really perform up to standard.
Wei Xiang ==== COULD have performed up to standard , but scrubbed due to bad luck.
So, i feel that its partly my fault that the team failed to get into Top 8.
Haizz.....Must improve more!

Working on deck ideas!
Continuing from where i left off : Staring at my useless DT08 pile.
Since people like Baha and Clarence made good use of Ally Genex stuff like Birdman and Crusher, i figured that i wanted to make use of some DT stuff to make a new deck.
Here's my attempt on a Flamvell/Neoflamvell deck

- I still dunno if this would work well, since i haven't really tested it.
I'm still debating on which is better : Allure or Hand Severing. The gold sarco should be able to search out key cards such as Giant Trunade and Rekindling.
Shaman would act as a mini Kycoo which is able to be revived by Rekindling, while being a LV3 , which gives me access to more Synchros. Hedgehog is a LV3 Tuner which gives me access to Ancient God Flamvell.
If this deck works out , i might try testing Neoflamvell Origin.
Fixes are welcomed.

The few days (or a week) before CNY!

New phone means i can now upload stupid/random/funny/anythingrelatedtoyugioh photos!
Soooo....
I have been very busy on the weekdays. You see , every year , near the CNY period , my mum would start selling her own homemade pineapple tarts. Since my school term starts in April, i can help her this year.
Imagine this (x5~10) everyday!
They are on sale for those who wants them. Its around $15 a bottle , 41 pieces per bottle.

Ours might be 50% more expensive, but do note that these are HANDMADE... With fresh pineapples used in the filling with good quality ingredients.
Somemore , its the CNY leh! No harm spending abit more on good quality snacks right?

Well, i'll be happy to meet you at any MRT station from :

Sooo......
