I FAILED MY CHEMISTRY PRELIM PAPER!!!


WTH......I'm so depressed over this. Over the course of my secondary school life , i have NEVER failed Chemistry and you could say that it was my favorite subject next to English and Literature. To add insult to injury , even my Physics was better than the score i got for Chemistry. We're talking about PHYSICS!! , the one subject which i can never pass , but i got a C5 this time...

Haiz....I'm very disappointed in myself. Its 26 days to O Levels and this is the result for all the effort i have put in to study Chemistry. I'm going to stop blogging for awhile , on weekdays , cause i'm going to put 90% of the time i have right now to studying.

Yes. That means no more videos , no more tournaments, no more Life.

For 1 month , i will become a slave to my textbook , reading and doing everything i need to change my D7 in Chemistry to an A2. That applies for all my other subjects of course.

So , i doubt i will be going to Khatib this Saturday , or any Saturdays for that matter.

Haiz...What a great birthday present this is.

Results (Part 1) + Updates

Sheesh...After a long period of prelims , it was time to head back to school to get our results and go through them.

I got back :

Combined Humanities = B4
Literature = A2
Chinese = A2

The rest are not completely returned , so i won't mention them.

Not bad if i were to say so myself. Perfectly logical explanation for the B is because a lot of people failed the SS section of the subject, so B4 isn't really as bad as people would think.

Bad news : I failed to get A1 for my EMaths paper 1...sobz..

Anyways , back to YGO. I'm still deciding whether should i go Khatib or Jurong East this Saturday. If i go Khatib , it would be easier to head to Bishan after that for my birthday party at my aunt's house. But i sort of feel bad for missing out on Bryan's tournament.

I'll have to think about it.

Will be testing out my Cat Synchro (again...)

Seriously , i have no idea why i'm so obsessed with the cat. Is it because i coulden't play it the last format? Or could it be because i have no other deck which i can afford at the moment and coincidentally i only have this deck so i can only use this?

After the tournament , i will post the video on the Cat Synchro deck.

After retesting Experiment 2 (Refer to previous post) , tearing it apart and reforming it, i have came up with a consistent build. Some of you may have seen this as Banana from the SG forums has played it before. However , i believe that there is a difference between both builds. Mine is according to what i have , my style and.....is more cheap?

This is essentially GB+AKB+Plants. I tried BF , but i would want to side in Shadow Mirrors often in my duels and i don't want my deck to be affected too much. I also sided some Chariots in case i want some negation , especially on decks like Zombie Synchro and/or Gladiator Beast , and not to mention Lightsworn.

Its currently under testing. So , feel free to give comments. The extra deck is pretty much normal for a GB deck. The sidedeck is mostly on countering other decks.

Exam Status + New Deck!!

My exams are almost finished, it's gonna end next Monday.

It's been really stressful days, studying everywhere , from the toliet to the seats on the bus. Regardless , it's gonna end soon , and the BIG storm will come. But before that , i will take a well deserved 2-3 days break.

Back onto the topic. After the powerful performance by the Twilight Beat deck ( Akira Control ) , which has won many tournaments this month, i thought it was time for me to test out making my own decks. So , i used cards which i had and experimented. Of course , there will failures.

Experiment 1 : Lightlord Synchro

Basically Lightlord without Judgement Dragon , with teched Psychics to allow reuse of Telekinetic Power Well. Wasn't really consistant , and i drew alot of Krebons. So , at the moment ...FAIL

Experiment 2 : Random

Wasn't really nice with the limiting of Mind Control, and it was really random. SHELFED

Experiment 3 : AKBF

Now, this was what i was talking about. Although it may not be original (I think?), but it was really working well , consistantly OTKing at times , while controling at other times. ACCEPTED!!!

Honestly , i like this deck. Its basically the best of both worlds for me. BF and AKB.
